TERMS & CONDITIONS

The boring part - but important part for you and for us!

Terms and Conditions: Please note, Teme Valley Stoves may ask you to check through and sign the Terms and Conditions although, if requested we can give you a printed version also.

Acceptance of our quotations is also acceptance of our terms and conditions, which are :-

The company trading name is Teme Valley Stoves and is registered by HETAS

Our package quotes are for products supplied or installations costs combined. Our quotations are free and no charge to the customer shall be made, unless otherwise stated by us (e.g outside of the West Midlands, there will be a fuel charge, unless Teme Valley Stoves state and agree otherwise) and agreed by both parties.
We reserve the right not to accept work after a quotation has been supplied.

INSTALLATION
1: Installation: once an order has been acknowledged and a deposit has been received (if required), we will advise an approximate delivery and or where applicable an installation date.
Installation dates are given in good faith, however if for reasons beyond our control we have to rearrange the date (example: safety issues due to adverse weather conditions), we will rearrange by consent the earliest possible alternative. We shall not be held responsible for any liability for any direct or indirect costs/losses, as a consequence of the date change.
2: Where we have taken delivery of goods against a customer order and have agreed in principle an installation date which then the customer defers the delivery and/or installation date beyond that agreed we reserve the right to request the balance of payment in full be paid by the original delivery/install date.
All installations cancelled by the customer and a date not rearranged will still be chargeable at 50% the original quote and any goods that have to be returned to suppliers will incur an additional shipping charge.
3: Where a quote does NOT include scaffolding and scaffolding is later required, this is the customers responsibility. Quotes are given in good faith, however sometimes when work does commence, it may come to light that scaffolding is required in order to maintain safety.

3a: During any construction work and the installing of your appliance it may result in building waste. This will be  the customers responsibility to dispose.  It is advised that customers are able to dispose of such waste at their local recycling centres and is not chargeable to general public.  
4: We are NOT responsible for any work that has NOT been carried out by Teme Valley Stoves.
All work carried out by us, the company, will be noted by Teme Valley Stoves.
5: During the prep process or building works and install, unforeseen issues may arise that were not within the quote and could require additional attention before we are able to complete the job.We, Teme Valley Stoves, will make the customer aware and advise if such work can be carried out by ourselves or if a third party - contractors / professional would need to be obtained. Any additional costs will be the customers responsibility.


PAYMENT
6: Payment is to be received by Cash or Bank Transfer. We do not accept cheques.
7: A non refundable deposit, agreed at the time of the accepted quotation is required on all orders placed.

8: On all orders and services the balance is to be paid on completion of the job
9: The title of the goods remains that of Teme Valley Stoves, until paid for in full.
10: We reserve the right to charge 10% per day of the final quote or product price for outstanding balances.


PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
11: All images of products illustrated are of those from: product brochures, our website, our customers or links to our supplier websites and should be regarded as "illustrative" ONLY. Details may be subject to change without prior notice, due to the manufacturer having a policy of ongoing product development. We will of course endeavour to bring to your attention any detail changes of which we are aware, however goods supplied may differ slightly as a consequence.
12: Dimensions provided by our suppliers should be regarded as "nominal" and as a guide only, due to manufacturing tolerances.

13: We will not accept any liability to supply additional materials or incur costs where the buyer/customer has provided us with inaccurate or incomplete dimensions/information and the product(s) supplied are therefore incorrect or incomplete as a result.

14: Colours may vary slightly from those illustrated. Stove warranties normally exclude naturally wearing ‘consumable’ parts such as: Glass & Seals, Firebricks, Grate Parts, Baffles, Log Retainers and the Surface Finish of the unit.
15: Liner warranties are 10 years, depending on supplier or manufacturer.
16: All products supplied by us will be covered by its manufactures warranty,
any discrepancies or warranty claims will be dealt with by the customer. Should issues arise after the installation, Teme Valley Stoves will pass all relevant information to aid customers in contacting such companies.
17: Teme Valley Stoves are not liable for any natural ageing, shrinkage, splitting or pest problems that may manifest within any natural product supplied (i.e Oak Beams and Fire Surrounds).
18: All timbers supplied are made using kiln dried timbers to reduce these occurrences and carry no guarantee. It is the customers responsibility to take care and treat the product accordingly.
19: Any reinstallation of timbers will incur further costs to the customer.
