FAQ

You Asked, We Answered

WHAT ARE THE LATEST DESIGNS?

There’s no shortage of styles for modern wood burners which include freestanding pedestal versions, three-legged models, cylindrical designs and some that swivel, so you can direct the heat just where you want it. If you have a hankering for tradition, old-style stoves in black or colourful paint or enamel are easy to find and in contrast to their period looks, they’re stuffed with modern technology. Made from cast iron or steel, stoves are super-efficient heaters. Both newer model and older models are forever in and out of the craze in the Stove world! It really does come down to personal preference, age of the house - but most importantly the decor of the room it will be in, will really impact on that first impression of anyone going in to that room.

ARE STOVES EFFICIENT?

Wood-burning stoves are highly efficient - running at up to 87% efficiency compared with up to 25% for a traditional open coal fire. The most efficient ones use ‘cleanburn’ technology, introducing pre-heated air into the smoke at the top of the firebox to combust the hydrocarbons in the smoke, resulting in less pollution.

WHERE DO YOU COVER?

We cover all over the country and have done since we established all those years a go. However, we do add a fuel charge to the job - but this will be confirmed prior to your appointment.

DO YOU DO PACKAGE DEALS?

Here at Teme Valley Stoves, we run termly package deals. This is what we are always recommended for! We do package deals as we are not a Shop or Showroom - so we put a Stove package together - including a quality Stove. So get in touch if you're interested or wanting more details or head over to our Facebook page where our information updated regularly and someone can assist you there and then

* Please Note: We get asked on a regular basis if there is any more of a discount if paid in cash rather than bank transfer - Unfortunately, this is not the case *

ARE YOU A STOVE SHOP?

No, we are not a shop. A question we get asked a lot!
